Mira Browne, LMSW is a licensed master social worker who is passionate about helping clients navigate life’s challenges. She works with clients of all ages, with a particular focus on preteens, adolescents, and adults navigating anxiety, trauma, grief, depression, and more complex emotional and relational patterns. Mira brings a grounded, compassionate approach to therapy, helping clients make sense of their experiences while building practical tools for lasting change.
Mira integrates evidence-based approaches, including cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, and parts-based work, along with mindfulness and trauma-informed care. Her work goes beyond traditional talk therapy, incorporating skill-building, nervous system regulation, and deeper exploration of thoughts, emotions, and behaviors so clients can respond more effectively to stress. Her style is collaborative and strengths-based, balancing validation with gentle challenge. Mira helps clients increase emotional awareness, identify core beliefs, reconnect with their internal resources, and move out of stuck patterns toward more intentional, values-driven lives. Her goal is not just symptom relief, but meaningful, sustainable growth.
With over 20 years of experience in nonprofit, education, and government sectors—including executive leadership and program development—Mira brings a unique understanding of high-pressure environments, relationships, and complex systems. She also offers parent coaching and guidance, informed by both her clinical work and her personal experience as a parent of children with attention and learning differences.
Mira earned her Master of Science in Social Work (MSSW) from The University of Texas at Austin. She is an LMSW and is nearing completion of her advanced clinical licensure.
Mira Browne, LMSW is supervised by Leslie Anne Catlett, LCSW-S.
