

Kait is a counseling intern who is currently pursuing a master’s degree in professional counseling at Texas State University, with a focus on marriage, couples, and families. Kait’s work is rooted in a systems perspective, emphasizing the importance of relationships, connection, and collaborative growth in the therapeutic process. Utilizing a variety of research-based approaches, including the Gottman method, she offers a safe space to explore cultivated beliefs and patterns that may be impacting a client’s well-being.
Having grown up in a military family, Kait is passionate about supporting veterans and military families through compassionate care grounded in cultural awareness and a deep respect for the complexities of military life. She has experience working with adolescents, couples, and families, as well as providing care in a residential facility. Kait earned her bachelor’s degree in psychology from University of South Carolina.
