Dr. Delia (Dee) Esparza earned her Doctor of Philosophy in Psychiatric Mental Health Nursing from The University of Texas at Austin in 1990. She is a board-certified psychiatric-mental health clinical nurse specialist and a licensed marriage and family therapist, bringing over 40 years of experience to her practice.
Throughout her career, Dr. Esparza has worked in diverse clinical settings, but her primary focus has been treating veterans coping with war-related trauma and military sexual trauma, along with supporting their families. Her dedication to veteran care is deeply personal, as her husband served as a Marine in Vietnam.
Dr. Esparza specializes in trauma treatment and is trained in eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR) and FLASH therapy. She also has extensive experience in group, family, and couples therapy, helping individuals and families heal and rebuild their lives.
