Shawna Moss, LCSW, graduated from the University of Georgia in 2005 with a Masters in Social Work. Shawna was the Clinical Director of the Samaritan Counseling Center of Atlanta and transferred as a therapist to the Samaritan Center in Austin January 2015. Shawna has experience working with children, adolescents, adults, couples and families and enjoys specializing in issues related to trauma, anxiety, depression, communication, gender and sexuality issues, and parenting. She uses a combination of CBT, Strengths Based, Solution Focused approaches to assist clients in exploring ways to improve one’s self. She has specialized training in Trauma Focused-Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy.
