

Qiana Cannon, M.Ed. is a combat veteran and served in the United States Army from 2000 through 2004. Serving as a medic, she was stationed at Fort Hood, Texas and in Friedberg, Germany where she deployed with the 501st infantry division during the OIF/OEF conflict. After the Army she went on to become an educator with Killeen Independent School District, where she served the community and the military child population for seven years.
Qiana holds a Master of Education from Concordia University and a Bachelor of Criminal Justice from Texas A&M University Central Texas. She is the Care Manager & Outreach Coordinator for Samaritan Center. She assists service members, veterans, and their families with resources throughout the state of Texas. Qiana also works with the clinical staff at Samaritan Center to help establish mental health services with military-connected clients.
