Martin graduated with a B.A. in Communications and English from Concordia University in Austin, a Masters of Divinity from Concordia Seminary in St. Louis and is a Licensed Professional Counselor Intern and a Marriage and Family Therapist Associate. Martin has worked as a pastoral counselor for ten years serving couples and families and can provide integrated spiritual counseling. When working with clients Martin uses trauma- informed, strengths-based, solution-focused, and narrative therapy techniques to help clients reach their goals. Martin has worked with children, teenagers, and adults individually as well as couples and families. Martin specializes in moral injury, grief/complicated grief, PTSD, marriage, parenting, and autism spectrum. He provides counseling services to clients at Foundation Communities as well as at the Samaritan Center satellite location in South Austin.
