Henry Hosey, LPC-A, LCDC is a licensed professional counselor associate with years of experiencing providing counseling to children, teens, adults, and families. During his sessions, he listens intently to his client. He works together to identify emotional, thinking, and behavioral barriers that keep someone stuck. He uses techniques such as mindfulness, journaling, breath-work, etc to help one return to a natural, healthy self.
Henry earned a Masters in Counseling from University of North Texas and Masters in Education from Southern Oregon University. His counseling career began in Wyoming working with teens, individually and in groups, around issues of trauma, depression, and anxiety. He has experience working with children and families, both as a teacher and as a counselor. He has worked with adults and children who have lost loved ones and struggled with grief. Most recently, he worked with adults in substance use treatment facilities tackling the cunning disease of addiction.
When not at work, Henry is on my bike. When he’s not on his bike, he’s in his kayak. When he’s doing neither, he’s spending time with his wife and daughter walking trails, watching shows and movies, cooking, and eating.
