Colleen Straney, L.Ac, MAOM, earned her master’s degree in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine from AOMA Graduate School of Integrative Medicine in 2008.
She has been in private practice for over 11 years, where she specializes in the treatment of stress, anxiety, depression, insomnia, digestive issues, acute and chronic pain, and women’s fertility with acupuncture, Chinese herbal medicine, and bodywork. She enjoys helping others feel their most vibrantly healthy and happy.
Additionally, Colleen has been the acupuncturist for Sundara Yoga Therapy’s Overcoming Anxiety workshops. She has been a wellness professional for 25 years, beginning as a licensed massage therapist in 1995, up to her present acupuncture and Chinese medicine practice today. She is delighted to be part of the Samaritan Center family as well! Colleen strongly believes in creating a healing experience for her patients that is welcoming, warm, and inclusive.
