Michelle has worked professionally with children and adults for nearly 30 years as an educator, registered nurse, social worker and Senior Non-Commissioned Officer in the U.S. Military. She has been married to Scott, a recently retired Army Officer for over 25 years and has lived overseas and in several states while serving as a proud Army spouse. Being a mother to two (now adult) children provided endless growth and learning opportunities, and as such, Michelle is in a unique position to help coach parents to assist their children and teens to become healthy responsible adults.
Michelle specializes in trauma work utilizing Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). Michelle also works with clients dealing with anxiety, depression, life transitions, and grief and loss. Michelle sees clients 12 and above, and couples and families.
