Kimberly earned her Master’s degree in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (MAcOM) from AOMA Graduate School of Integrative Medicine in Austin, TX, where she received extensive training in both Chinese and Western medical theory, diagnosis and treatment. She has experience treating patients presenting with a wide range of psychosocial, musculoskeletal, digestive, endocrine, immune, and nervous system conditions using a combination of acupuncture, Chinese herbal medicine, whole food nutritional supplementation, Asian bodywork therapy and corrective exercise.
Kimberly is a Texas Medical Board-Licensed Acupuncturist and a NCCAOM Diplomate of Oriental Medicine. She is also certified to practice Asian Bodywork Therapy through the American Organization of Bodywork Therapies of Asia and has an Applied Clinical Nutritionist certification through Texas Chiropractic College. She has been a certified Pilates instructor, Gyrotonic(R) Instructor-Apprentice and a Certified Personal Trainer, and has extensively studied Yang-style Tai Chi Ch’uan, traditional Kung Fu and capoeira.
Her donation-based Tai Chi classes are on Wednesdays from 6-7 p.m. at the Samaritan Center and are open to anyone who would like to attend.
