Armando is a seasoned mental health professional who has a diverse life and educational experience both locally and abroad. He has lived and traveled in the U.S., Central America, and several European countries. His educational background includes seminary studies in Mexico City, BA in Ministerial counseling from Pepperdine University, and a Masters in Marriage in Family Therapy from Abilene Christian University. Armando dedicated 10 years of his life in Tegucigalpa, Honduras where he served as a missionary, taught at a seminary for Christian leaders, and provided counseling to individuals and families.
In addition to his experience as a therapist, Armando is a Management Consultant for workplace issues, a Professional Life Coach, a Critical Incident Consultant and an Adjunct Professor at the Austin Graduate School of Theology where he teaches Christian Counseling and Psychology. His current responsibilities include supervision of therapists and student interns and oversight of the Center’s clinical operations.
