Established in 2002 by the Austin Samaritan Counseling Center, the Central Texas Ethics in Business awards program annually honors organizations and individuals who have demonstrated exemplary ethical practices. The purpose of the EIB Award is to provide a forum for acknowledging organizations and individuals that are exemplars of ethical practice and to ecourage a dialogue about business ethics in our community. By recognizing such behavior, we all learn that doing the right thing is good business! Awards are given in the following categories:
Small Business (5-99 employees)
Large Business (0ver 100 employees)
Non-Profit Business
Individual
Nominations are gathered by the Samaritan Counseling Center. Nominees are researched by Concordia University School of Business students studying ethical principles. The award dinner is held in the Spring to celebrate the award recipients.
